Faculte’s mission to make online teaching and learning easy, engaging and collaborative. The company was founded with the goal of helping individuals and organizations share knowledge with online video. Our team spans professionals from various backgrounds from around the globe.

Jason Oliver – CEO

Jason is a seasoned technology executive and serial entrepreneur with more than fifteen years of experience in the software/Internet industry.

Prior to Faculte, Jason founded Juicebox Software, a developer of mobile applications aimed at the children’s market. Juicebox created applications for IOS and Android devices.

Over the last 15 years, Jason has founded six companies, including General Internet, Ironlight Digital, Mochila, Oompa Toys, Juicebox Software and Lunchbox Reviews. In addition, Jason has served as CTO for a number of companies including, Novo Ironlight, eTown.com and Appgenesys. Jason started as a technologist and over the years moved into product, marketing and operations. Jason studied at Woodbury College and the University of Southern California.

John Ernst – CTO

John is an experienced technologist. He has over 25 years of experience in information technology, engineering and product development. He leads and organizes Faculte’s development and systems efforts.

Prior to Faculte, John was the a Co-Founder of three start-up companies, Snap Lab Media; SaaS mobile engagement, Mobile Content Management Solution and QR Code platform for agencies and enterprises. Expressume (n.k.a. Montage Talent) a SaaS video based talent acquisition solution, and White Sage Media; an online storefront that enables owners of digital content to sell products online. He also served as founder and president for 10 years of software engineering and online marketing firm John Ernst Corporation

Cornel Cozar – Engineering Manager

Cornel is a hands-on and no frills manager. Being highly motivated and results driven, he gets things done. He manages Faculte’s development team, ensures timely delivery of our builds, and supervises our online service.

Prior to Faculte he worked for Cybercom where he was the technical lead for a Swedish e-learning project. Previously he worked for Softvision Inc. where he occupied different positions: development manager, R&D department manager, software architect and trainer. He is passionate about multimedia conversions, coding java enterprise applications, system and software architecture. He has a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Babes Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
